Bolton went into their last game against West Brom having hammered Stoke 5-0 the week before, but they were unable to pull clear of the relegation zone as the Baggies handed them a 2-1 defeat.

Ivan Klasnic scored Bolton’s only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the first half and try as they did to score an equaliser, they weren’t able to produce too many problems for the Baggies backline.

Everton grabbed a 2-1 win against Wolverhampton at Goodison Park last Saturday. They went behind in the 37th minute but picked up an equaliser near half time courtesy of defender Phil Jagielka. And seven minutes from time, Louis Saha went down under pressure from Stephen Ward and Leighton Baines slotted in the resulting penalty.

Bolton will hope that home advantage will do them some good when they host Everton on Saturday.

Bolton’s home record is slightly better than their away form and that should be a factor that David Moyes will have to think about on Sunday. The arrival of Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea has done wonders for the Wanderers attacking options and with a goal in each of his last two games things are looking good for the twenty one year old. With the team being very unlucky to leave the game against Spurs with no points they may feel that they are better than their eighth place in the table would suggest and Everton will have a tough time at the Reebok as a result.

Everton’ own Premier League form has been poor at times but after scoring five goals last week against Blackpool they will be feeling a lot better. The balance of power may have reverted back to the reds but there has only been one loss from the last five Premier League games at Goodison and that is something that Moyes can build on. With one or two wins on the road things will look a lot better and everyone at Everton will believe that Bolton are beatable. You can watch with live streaming from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Bolton started off on the wrong foot with 3 consecutive losses, but recovered a bit with 2 draws and 2 wins, earning them 8 points. The last match however, again ended up in disappointment for them with a very predictable 2-1 defeat against Manchester United. The Wanderers had very little chance in the match as Manchester United had pulled the match to them in the first half itself. The 76th minute goal by Taylor got the hopes high for the Bolton fans but in spite of immense efforts, they were not able to bring in an equalizer in the last minutes. The team showed some very good skills and coordination in the second half and according to manager Megson, they could have had much better chances in the match had they played like that from minute one.

Everton, on the other hand, were able to draw their last match against Wolverhampton in their previous appearance on the field. The first half remained pretty eventless, but the last minute equalizer by Russian midfielder Bilyaletdinov pumped up the energy of the match and the fans. Saha and Yobo did a pretty good job with the attack and always kept the opposition defenders on their toes. Saha has scored 5 goals this season for his team and expectations from him are high for the future matches too.
