Prior to this past weekend's results which, at the time of writing this article are still unknown, Burnley had gone four games without a win in the English Premier League. Arsenal are currently riding high in the Premier League and prior to the weekend (they were due to play Liverpool at Anfield) they were sitting in third position. That obviously could change dramatically if they lose (lost) on Sunday and other teams around them win. In their fourteen games played before the weekend they had nine wins, one draw and four defeats to their name.
