Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night. The Blues started the game poorly but grew into it after Emmanuel Adebayor had put Spurs ahead. Daniel Sturridge equalised for them from Ashley Cole’s cross fifteen minutes later.

Andre Villas-Boas’ men fashioned more opportunities, but none of them were converted to give the Blues the three points they so desperately wanted. Villas-Boas even threw in Fernando Torres late to grab a second goal but the Spaniard was unable to change the course of the game.

Fulham were massacred 5-0 at home by Manchester United on Wednesday night. The Cottagers looked listless and lifeless as they conceded three in the first half and two late in the second half. Fans will be expecting a better performance from the players on Monday.

The Cottagers are two points clear of West Ham in the race for European football next season. It’s been a major turnaround from last season when they struggled against relegation and only escaped the drop zone on the last day of the season.

Roy Hodgson’s side defeated Stoke 1-0 in their last Premier League game, striker Erik Nevland scoring the only goal of the game. Fulham have no injury doubts ahead of this London derby and they will be hoping to claim three crucial points.
