The Blues defended for their lives in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal and somehow managed to draw 2-2 thanks to goals from Ramires and Fernando Torres, thus taking them through 3-2 on aggregate.

What was even more remarkable was that Chelsea achieved the draw despite being down to ten men and 2-0 down at one stage of the game. Manager Roberto di Matteo praised his side’s efforts, especially those of his midfielders and defenders.

Queens Park Rangers, for the record, beat Chelsea 1-0 when the two sides met at Loftus Road earlier this season. The Hoops go into this fixture having stunned London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 last weekend.

Queens Park Rangers will look to complete a famous double over Champions League finalists Chelsea and move further away from the bottom three when they clash against the Blues this weekend.
