Spurs continued their recent good form with a fluent 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers last weekend. The Lilywhites lead 2-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Rafael van der Vaart and Gareth Bale and could have easily lead by more had it not been for some profligacy in front of goal by Emmanuel Adebayor.

Although QPR did manage to cause a few flutters in the Spurs camp by pulling one back, a fantastic Spurs passing move that culminated in Bale’s second goal put the match beyond the reach of Neil Warnock's side.

Fulham won their last Premier League fixture 2-0 at troubled Wigan. Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey were on target as Fulham halted their three match losing streak in all competitions.

Spurs will look to round off this week with a win when they take on Martin Jol's Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday evening.

Spurs will look to round off this week with a win when they take on Martin Jol’s Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday evening.

Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur side will visit Craven Cottage to take on Mark Hughes' Fulham side in the Premier League on October 16 2010. With a relatively better start to this season, getting eleven points in seven games, Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to build on their recent momentum. With nine points from their last seven games, Fulham will enter the game as the underdogs on paper but that does not mean that they can be ruled out. See which way the game goes with live streaming from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur side will consist of defenders, Gareth Bale and Corluka who may be accompanied by Ledley King. Thomas Huddlestone is almost a certainty to occupy a part of the midfield and will probably play alongside Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Jenas. Strikers Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane are expected to start with Jermain Defoe side-lined by an ankle injury for up to six weeks. Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to pick up the three points before visiting the San Siro to play Inter in the Champions League.

Mark Hughes' starting eleven will probably feature Hangeland and Hughes in defence. Danny Murphy, Simon Davies and Etuhu will likely appear in the midfield. With many of Fulham's strikers out with injury, Eddie Johnson will relish the chance of some time on the pitch and will take the opportunity to impress the Fulham fans. Fulham will be hopeful of building some momentum before visiting The Hawthorns Stadium to face West Bromwich Albion in their next Premier League match. Premier League Live

Fulham have now gone five Premier League games unbeaten and as such they have moved up to ninth in the Premier League table with 26 points to their name. Last Saturday the Cottagers enjoyed a fantastic 3-0 victory at home to champions Manchester United, confirming their ability to defeat the so-called bigger teams at home in the league.

With Fulham captain Danny Murphy opening the scoring in the 22nd minute of the first half, Hodgson’s team comfortably held out to the half time whistle. In the second half the home side tore up the form book totally by scoring another two goals and thereby inflicting United’s worst defeat of the season so far. Zamora in the 46th minute and Duff in the 75th sealed the deal for Fulham.

For their part, Tottenham go into the game at Craven Cottage on the back of a good 2-0 win away to Sam Allardyce’s Blackburn Rovers side. Lanky striker Peter Crouch grabbed both of Spurs goals at Ewood Park, a result which keeps the team well in touch with the fight for a top four finish.

Harry Redknapp will be well pleased about the way his team have played in this first half of the season and will only hope his side are capable of sustaining their top four challenge in the second half of the season.
