Spurs continued their recent good form with a fluent 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers last weekend. The Lilywhites lead 2-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Rafael van der Vaart and Gareth Bale and could have easily lead by more had it not been for some profligacy in front of goal by Emmanuel Adebayor.

Although QPR did manage to cause a few flutters in the Spurs camp by pulling one back, a fantastic Spurs passing move that culminated in Bale’s second goal put the match beyond the reach of Neil Warnock's side.

Fulham won their last Premier League fixture 2-0 at troubled Wigan. Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey were on target as Fulham halted their three match losing streak in all competitions.

Fulham have now gone five Premier League games unbeaten and as such they have moved up to ninth in the Premier League table with 26 points to their name. Last Saturday the Cottagers enjoyed a fantastic 3-0 victory at home to champions Manchester United, confirming their ability to defeat the so-called bigger teams at home in the league.
