They now have a very competitive squad on paper with eight signings since Hughes took over at the end of July. Wolves though will be no push over as the McCarthy will be keen for his team to remain in the top half of the table for as long as possible.

With Ebanks-Blake seeming to be confident in front of goal, he is very likely to start and Marcus Bent will have to really earn his place to get a game. It’s doubtful whether Belgian defender Van Damme will start after he was brought off after 38 minutes in the game against Newcastle although he is not injured. Wolves will not want to change things too much as they have had a reasonable start given the tools at their disposal. Wolves will be making the journey to Craven Cottage this coming Saturday for an EPL encounter with Fulham. The last time these two teams faced each other was back in September and on that occasion it was Wolves who took the points with a 2-1.
