The fans at Craven Cottage will see Fulham v Wolves Live on Saturday 11 September 2010. You can join them with live online streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net. Mick McCarthy’s team will be looking to chalk up their first premier league away win of the season but Mark Hughes will be confident of his side’s ability to get their first Premiership win this term.
The cottagers are a very difficult team to beat at home which they proved against Manchester United. Sparky’s men have yet to win but Bobby Zamora is beginning to find form and 23 year old striker Dembele is eager to prove his worth to the club. They also now have to compete with Kamara, Johnson and two young strikers from Liverpool in Kacaniklic and Dalla Valle.
They may though feel the effects of losing Paul Konchesky to Liverpool even though they have bolstered their defence with Salcido from PSV and Senderos from Arsenal. They now have a very competitive squad on paper with eight signings since Hughes took over at the end of July. Wolves though will be no push over as the McCarthy will be keen for his team to remain in the top half of the table for as long as possible.
With Ebanks-Blake seeming to be confident in front of goal, he is very likely to start and Marcus Bent will have to really earn his place to get a game. It’s doubtful whether Belgian defender Van Damme will start after he was brought off after 38 minutes in the game against Newcastle although he is not injured. Wolves will not want to change things too much as they have had a reasonable start given the tools at their disposal. Wolves are now fourteenth in the English Premier League and continuing their campaign to put some distance between themselves and the drop zone. They were up against Stoke City last weekend but this game ended with nobody finding the back of the net. Mick McCarthy seemed happy enough to get the point but a few wins would be much appreciated by the manager.
