Hull City and Chelsea play their game in hand this coming Tuesday evening in the English Premier League. Both sides have Saturday afternoon fixtures to traverse before their encounter – Chelsea away to Burnley and Hull at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers – but the results of these weekend fixtures are as of yet unknown due to the fact that this article was written before the games were played. See how Hull and Chelsea get on in their Tuesday evening fixture by tuning into oleolefootball.watchlive.net and enjoying the live streaming footy action from England in all its glory.
Prior to Saturday’s match with Wolves, Hull City had gone eight league games without tasting a victory. Their last league game was the 4-0 drubbing at Old Trafford from a Wayne Rooney inspired Manchester United side. They are currently sitting (again, not taking Saturday’s game into consideration) in nineteenth (second last) position in the Premier League table, and they only have nineteen points to their name. At home they have played ten games and have won four of these, drawn three and lost a further three.
Depending how they get on in their game against Wolves on Saturday, Hull could find themselves in very serious trouble in the league if they lose to Chelsea on Tuesday evening.
For their part, Chelsea’s last league game (prior to the visit to Burnley on Saturday) was an emphatic 3-0 home victory until the then twelve game unbeaten Birmingham City side. That victory moved Carlo Ancellotti’s Blues back up to first position in the league table. Chelsea have played ten games away from home, winning five, drawing two and losing three of these encounters.

League leaders Chelsea travel to Hull City on Saturday minus their African stars who have all departed for the African Cup of Nations. Just quite how this will affect the team remains to be seen, but you can see how they get on in the game by joining us here at oleolefootball.watchlive.net and enjoying the live streaming soccer from the English Premier League at its very best.
Chelsea go into the game against Hull on the back of an impressive 5-0 home win against Watford in the FA Cup last weekend, but prior to that they played Fulham in the West London derby at Stamford Bridge and managed to eventually come out 2-1 winners.
The game against the Cottagers was a good one and it was Fulham who actually managed to take an early lead when Gera scored in the fourth minute. Carlo Ancellotti must have been a worried man when the clock hit 73 minutes and the score was still 1-0 to Fulham, but in that minute Ivory Coast start Didier Drogba snatched the equaliser and just two minutes later an unfortunate own goal from Fulham youngster Smalling gifted the win, and therefore the points, to the Blues.
Thanks to the win, Chelsea still lead the way by two points from second placed Manchester United, but that lead could be down to just one point come Saturday as Arsenal play their game in hand on Wednesday against Bolton at home and should they win they go second with 44 points as compared to Chelsea’s 45.
Hull City haven’t won a league game in six attempts. Last time out they drew 2-2 away to fellow strugglers Bolton, a result that saw Bolton manager Gary Megson sacked.
