Norwich were thumped 5-1 by league leaders Manchester City last weekend. The Canaries kept Roberto Mancini’s side at bay for half an hour but the floodgates opened after Sergio Aguero’s cracking opening goal.

City scored two more goals before Steve Morison give Norwich a semblance of hope with his 81^st minute goal. However City scored two more towards the end to make the scoreline really lopsided.

Newcastle United fought hard against Chelsea last weekend but the goalkeeping heroics of Tim Krul were alone not enough for the Magpies as they went down 3-0. Krul denied Daniel Sturridge and co. time and again in the first half and kept them in the game right till the end before Chelsea scored twice.

The Magpies will hope to put one across Norwich when they take on the Canaries on Saturday in the Premiership.
