Real Madrid will play host to English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in the Bernabeu for the first leg of the Champion’s League quarter finals on Tuesday April 5. With a La Liga title looking less likely for Real Madrid the Champion’s League will be manager Jose Mourinho’s main target. See the game with live streams from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Real Madrid have hit the kind of form that will have put Spurs manager Harry Redknapp in the only situation where he would be happy to have drawn Barcelona. With their La Liga game at the weekend back on at the last minute because of a turnaround in a La Liga strike action Real Madrid will have just three days to prepare for the team that has impressed so often in their first foray in to the Champion’s League. With Mesut Ozil and Karim Benzema on fire lately they may be too hot to handle for the travelling Spurs team.
Tottenham will take a weakened team to Madrid and it is not known whether Alan Hutton or Vedran Corluka will be the ones who have to contend with the prolific Christiano Ronaldo who has scored more goals this season than Rafael van der Vaart, Jermaine Defoe, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Peter Crouch all put together. So much has been said about Gareth Bale and although he has an amazing ability to get around players Harry Redknapp will be reminding the Spurs team who they are playing all the way to Madrid. If they show no fear then Tottenham will have every chance of making the Semi-finals and if they manage an away goal then anything can happen.
