The Potters were demolished 5-0 by Bolton prior to the international break. They didn’t really compete in the game as Bolton made light of their recent attacking difficulties to score five goals. Manager Tony Pulis called the game as one of Stoke’s poorest performances in his tenure.

Stoke keeper Asmir Begovic was guilty for the first two goals that went in. Once they had a hold on the game, Bolton never looked like losing the fixture.

QPR put in an encouraging performance at home against Manchester City. While they did lose 3-2, the Hoops won plenty of plaudits for their performance and City’s Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko admitted that it was the toughest away game of the season for his side.
