The Gunners put Blackburn Rovers to the sword at home last Saturday. The slaughter started as early as the second minute when Robin van Persie slotted home from close range. Morten Gamst Pedersen’s free kick briefly brought Blackburn level, but it was all one way traffic from then as Arsenal laid siege to Rovers’ goal.

In the last match against the Wolves, fans saw them win comprehensively. Fabregas played really well and was given good support by Arshavin. Van persie was at his usual best. However, Diaby was injured and was immediately substituted.
