The Black Cats will welcome West Ham United as they travel to the Stadium of Light for their sixteenth game in the English Premier League 2010/11 season on Sunday. The game will be a tough fixture for both teams as West Ham are playing below par lately and will be desperate to buck the trend just as they did in the Carling cup when they beat Man United 4-0. That along with Sunderland keen to put last week’s defeat behind them. See who gets the points with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Steve Bruce will want his players to get off to a flying start in front of the home fans and Welbeck and Gyan will be relied up for inspiration. Both players have woken the league up to their ability this year and Bruce will want to get as much play as he can out of them especially as Welbeck is likely to return to Man United when his loan ends. The West Ham defence will have both players heavily marked to try and nullify their threat.
West Ham United have won their last two games in a row which could mean that their season is starting to take a turn for the better. For Avram Grant to remain in charge he will have to make sure they continue to win and that still might not be enough. With West Ham’s own fans calling for his resignation last week he may have a lot of making up to do. If the bookies are right and they usually are then Sunderland will have this wrapped up no problem. See if they do by watching the match live with streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Sunderland will play home against West Ham United this Saturday at the Sunderland Stadium of Light as the Barclays Premier League gets into its 11th week. Sunderland, who have registered alternate wins in the previous few weeks, is at the 8th slot with 16 points while West Ham is right at the bottom with just 6 points this season. The best place to find out which team will come out on top in the Sunderland vs. West Ham Utd live game is right here on OleOleFootball.
Sunderland was pretty disappointing in their last match with Birmingham City, who dominated almost entirely through the match. The team was 2-0 down by the beginning of the second half with the only relief coming in from Dann in the 82nd minute. Substitute Fraizer Campbell and Darren Bent missed late opportunities to get an equalizer and grab a point for the team. Bent, who has been one of the leading scorers this season, has scored 8 times for his team, but was unable to impress many this time around.
West Ham, who have been poor performers throughout, surprised many by their performance against Arsenal last week. Being down by 2-0 in the first half itself, a stunner from Cole and a late penalty by Diamanti, got them back into the match, ending Arsenal’s 4 match winning streak. Cole, who has been in top form this season, has scored 5 times but has not yet been able to get proper support from his team. The unexpectedly good performance from the team will surely be a confidence booster for the team who are yet to face victory after their initial win.
Sunderland is being considered as a clear winner but with West Ham stopping Arsenal in a draw in their previous match, they surely look a danger for Sunderland’s sweet prospects. With Bent at his career best form, fans will be counting on him to grab a victory for the home team.
