Bolton lost 2-0 to Sunderland last weekend. It was a disappointing result for the Trotters, who were on level terms with the Black Cats for much of the game before late goals from Stephane Sessegnon and Nicklas Bendtner gave the Wearsiders all three points.

Swansea surrendered a 2-0 lead in their last game as they drew 2-2 with Wolves. The Swans had an excellent first half and seemed on course to grab a win at Molineux after leading 2-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Danny Graham and Joe Allen. However Wolves scored twice at the death to take home a point.

It was a case of two points lost rather than a point gained for Brendan Rodgers’ men against Wolverhampton and they will now look to make full use of home conditions against the Trotters this weekend.
