Suarez nutmegged Terry and caused Essien to divert the ball past his own keeper for the opening goal of the game. Jordan Henderson smashed in the second while Daniel Agger nodded in the third minutes later. Stewart Downing missed a penalty but Jonjo Shelvey sealed the win with a long range cracker in the second half.

Swansea City lost 2-0 to Man Utd last weekend as first half goals from Scholes and Young put paid to the Swans’ hopes of upsetting the reigning Premier League champions.
