Terry Connor’s side were relegated last weekend following their 2-0 loss to Manchester City. Wolves needed to win to keep their hopes of staying up alive, but a goal in either half saw them slump to a loss in front of their home fans.

Wolves did give it their all and there were plenty of occasions when they had the better of the game. However City’s quality in the final third of the game saw them convert two chances while Wolves were unable to get on the scoresheet.

Swansea drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers in their last game. Scott Sinclair’s brilliantly curled effort put the Welshmen ahead before Chris Eagles leveled for Bolton Wanderers from Martin Petrov’s cross.

Swansea’s last Premier League outing of the month sees the Welsh side host Wolverhampton this weekend at the Liberty Stadium.
