West Brom are sitting at the bottom of the table going into this round of fixtures. The Baggies put in brave performances against both Man Utd and Chelsea before going down but have not quite been able to reproduce the same against lower ranked teams. They crashed to a 3-0 defeat against Swansea last weekend, their biggest defeat under current coach Roy Hodgson.

Fulham somehow managed to snatch a point against Man City, a match that looked well beyond their reach when Kun Aguero had netted twice to put City 2-0 ahead. Despite the fightback, the Cottagers are third from bottom in the table, level on points with West Brom and Bolton.

Both teams had midweek Carling Cup clashes- West Brom away at Goodison Park against Everton and Fulham against London neighbours Chelsea.

Both West Brom and Fulham will be aiming to move out of the drop zone when they meet at the Hawthorns this weekend.
