The Baggies continued their impressive start to the season as they held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last Saturday. United were 2-0 up at the interval thanks to goals from Nani and Javier Hernandez, but West Brom produced a spirited fight back in the second half and that, combined with some luck, was enough to earn the Baggies a point.

Chris Brunt was instrumental in scoring West Brom’s first goal as his free kick was turned in by Patrice Evra into his own net. Somen Tchoyi then netted a late equaliser after an elementary error from United keeper Edwin van der Sar.

Fulham suffered their first league loss of the 10/11 season as they went down 2-1 to local rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage. Diomansy Kamara put Fulham ahead after being set up by Clint Dempsey but goals from Roman Pavlyuchenko and Tom Huddlestone, the latter a controversial one, gave Spurs all three points at Craven Cottage.
