West Ham have not enjoyed the best of season’s so far and Zola’s promised revolution has not yet transpired. Although the Hammers have been playing some attractive football, or Zola football as the fans call it, they have not been producing the necessary results, hence their dire league position.

Last weekend the team travelled to Hull and were involved in an exciting game that eventually ended up a 3-3 draw. Worryingly for Zola though, his team took a 2-0 lead in the match but Hull turned it round before half time to lead 3-2. The Hammers did equalise in the second half, but only after Hull were reduced to ten men thanks to a sending off. In their seven away matches so far this season, West Ham have only won once while drawing three and losing the other three games.

Burnley, for their part, are having a great first season in the Premier League. They currently occupy eleventh position and have seventeen points to their name. Their home form is great and they have recorded five victories (including, famously, over Manchester United), one draw and just one defeat, while their away form has been terrible with just one point from the six matches played. Last weekend they entertained Aston Villa at Turf Moor and drew 1-1.
