Wolves’ unbeaten start to the new season was broken on Saturday as they lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur. To make matters worse, record club signing Steven Fletcher picked up a groin injury and is a major doubt for QPR’s visit to Molineux. Kevin Foley and Stephen Hunt have injuries as well but are expected to recover in time.

Queens Park Rangers dominated their last fixture against Newcastle United but were unable to convert their chances into a win. Manager Neil Warnock gave debuts to six players and handed one of them, temperamental midfielder Joey Barton, the captain’s armband.

All six players had a decent outing with Wright Phillips in particular impressive. The former Man City and Chelsea winger had two opportunities to score on debut but was unfortunately denied on both occasions.
