Glasgow Rangers will welcome Motherwell to the Ibrox Stadium for their twenty third game in the Scottish Premier League season 2010/11. The Blues are in second place and will want the win to keep the pressure on Celtic. It was Naismith that got the sent off in the Scottish Cup for Rangers so the team will have to do without him on Saturday. See who can get goals for Rangers this week as they play Motherwell in live streams at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
At the moment neither Celtic nor Rangers team looks ready to roll over and concede the top spot which makes Motherwell will have to work hard to get anything from this fixture. Thankfully for Rangers the midfield of Steven Davies and Maurice Edu are playing beyond their ability and making every tackle and pass count. Providing the men at the back like Papac, Weir and Whittaker can carry on playing as they have done then Motherwell will be unable to take a hold of this game.
This game may have already been written off by many Motherwell fans but after Rangers have come from a Scottish Cup encounter with Celtic you can bet that the team is feeling a little sore in places. If they are going to concede a point it will be just after a Celtic game and just before a European tie so there is no better time to play Rangers as they play Sporting Lisbon the Thursday after Motherwell. You can see if there are any changes in the table with live streaming SPL action from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Glasgow Rangers will welcome Motherwell to the Ibrox Stadium for their eighth game in the Scottish Premier League. The Blues are in second place through their goal difference only and they are keeping the pressure on Celtic with fine displays week after week. It was Naismith that got the winner in their last game as the SPL becomes more aware of the threat of the prolific Kenny Miller. See who can get goals for Rangers this week as they play Motherwell in live streams at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
The question on everyone’s lips is who is going to crack first will it be Rangers or Celtic? At the moment neither team looks ready to roll over and concede the top spot which makes this battle one of the most tightly fought in all the European leagues. Thankfully for Rangers fans the midfield of Steven Davies and Maurice Edu are looking like they are relishing their roles this year and they should continue to do so against Motherwell.
Providing the men at the back like Papac, Weir and Whittaker can keep up their solid displays then the match against the third placed Motherwell should go without too many hiccups. The trouble is that Blackman, Sutton and Murphy will be hungry for goals and will be out to break down the Glasgow defence from the off.
This game is being labelled as a defining moment for Rangers at this point of the season and the Celtic fans will be watching attentively too. You can see if there are any changes in the table with live streaming SPL action from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Motherwell have had a reasonable season and finishing with a win against Rangers would be a cause for celebration. The last time they were up against the Gers was back in February and on that occasion Motherwell were able to hold Rangers to a 1-1 result. This time they won’t have the home advantage but this would make the win all the sweeter.
Rangers are in a celebratory mood as they have already won the league. They will be up against their rivals Celtic midweek and a win from that game would really have their spirits high. Rangers face Motherwell at Ibrox in the Scottish Premier League this coming Saturday afternoon and will be looking to continue their relentless pursuit of Celtic at the top of the table (although by Saturday they could already be back on top as they are due to play Dundee United away on Tuesday evening. This article was written before the score of that game was known). See how the Gers get on in their game against Motherwell by joining us right here at oleolefootball.watchlive.net and enjoying the live streaming football from Scotland in all its glory.
Walter Smith’s Rangers side entertained St. Johnstone last weekend and as expected put the away side to the sword. The Blues ran out easy 3-0 winners and were set on their way by a first minute strike by the league’s top scorer Kris Boyd. He followed up with a second from the penalty spot on 27 minutes, and the win was wrapped up when Nacho Novo scored in the 51st minute.
The three points meant that Rangers stayed on the shirttails of arch rivals Celtic who also won at the weekend – against Rangers opponents this coming weekend Motherwell, by 3-2. Rangers are currently second in the table with 31 points from fourteen games, while Celtic lead the way with 33 points from fifteen games. As mentioned above though, Rangers play that game in hand on Tuesday (result as yet unknown) so they could very well be top of the league before the weekend’s fixtures.
Motherwell, as we stated above, come into the game against rangers on the back of a 3-2 home defeat to Celtic. They are currently fifth in the SPL table and have twenty points to their name.

Rangers currently lead the SPL league table with thirteen points from five matches and are looking in top gear going into the 2008/09 season. Rangers have had to endure a nightmarish past four months when they missed out on the UEFA Cup final, lost out on the final reaches of the league campaign to Celtic and missed out on Champions League action this season after being beaten in the qualifiers. Rangers however, have put all that behind them as exhibited by their 4-2 win over Celtic followed by their 2-1 win over Kilmarnock last weekend. The victory over Kilmarnock was a just indication of their fighting qualities as they fought back form going a goal down to pull up a fine victory. Rangers will have revenge to seek for against Motherwell, as it was the Steelmen who ruined their chance of silverware last season in the penultimate game of the season.
Motherwell on the other hand, are faltering in the league and their last match saw them being crushed 4-2 by Celtic. The score line was flattering in all reality after Celtic went on a first half blitz picking up a 4-0 lead. Motherwell also have European commitments to look after in the midweek facing an away trip to France against Nancy and it would take a brave man to bet on them securing a victory against Rangers this weekend.
