Inter recorded a comeback win over Lazio last weekend. Cesena snatched a crucial away win at Bologna last weekend. The first half was goalless but Emanuele Giaccherini and Dominique Malonga scored after the lemon break to give Cesena three priceless points in their quest for survival. Bologna did have their chances but were made to pay for their profligacy in front of goal.

Going into this fixture, Inter are second in the league with 66 points from 34 games. Cesena, on the other hand, are fifth from bottom with 37 points from the same number of games, just two points above the drop zone.
