The Old Lady slumped to yet another defeat last weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by AC Milan. The result left Juventus a whopping twenty points behind the Rossoneri, who currently lead the league table with 61 points. They have now lost three in a row, with Lecce, Bologna and Milan all getting the better of the Bianconeri after their surprise win overInter last month.

Juventus had a fair bit of possession in the game against Milan but failed to muster a single shot on their opponent's goal. The winner was scored by Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso. Juve also lost Felipe Melo to injury against Milan and the temperamental Brazilian will miss this weekend’s trip to Cesena.

Cesena eased their own relegation fears with a 3-2 win over Sampdoria last weekend. Marco Parolo opened the scoring just before half time, and the second half started as well as the first had ended for Cesena as Emanuele Giaccherini scored a quickfire brace. Samp did pull back two before the end of the final whistle but the Blucerchiati could not prevent their opponents from picking up their seventh win of the season.

Juve beat Cesena 3-1 when these two teams last clashed in Serie A. Luis Jimenez put Cesena ahead before goals from Alessandro Del Piero, Fabio Quaglirella and Vincenzo Iaquinta helped Juventus to win 3-1.
