The Giallorossi lost an ill tempered match to Sampdoria last weekend. If Roma had won, the result would have seen them move above city rivals Lazio into third place. Giallorossi keeper Julio Sergio and two Sampdoria players were sent off in the game that saw the Blucerchiati run out 2-1 winners.
