Genoa have won their last two games against Bologna and Cagliari, both by a 1-0 scoreline. Omar Milanetto netted for the Rossoblu against Bologna while Andrea Ranocchia was the scorer against Cagliari.

Genoa have scored at least two goals in each of their last three meetings against Juventus. When the two sides clashed at Luigi Ferraris last season, the result was a high scoring draw. Juventus took the lead through Vincenzo Iaquinta, but goals from Giandomenico Mesto and Hernan Crespo allowed Genoa to surge ahead. However French striker David Trezeguet’s late equaliser allowed Juventus to come back to Turin with a point.

Juve went behind twice in the game, but Vincenzo Iaquinta’s 79^th minute strike seemed to have sealed a hard fought victory for them. Genoa have a very impressive home record. They have won nine, drawn four and lost just one at the Luigi Ferraris this season. League leaders Inter are the only team to have beaten Genoa in their own backyard, winning 2-0 last month.
