Juventus kept up the pace with league leaders Inter Milan last week with a valuable 1-0 win against European qualification hopefuls Fiorentina. Cagliari are on course for their best Serie A finish for a number of years as they sit 10^th in the table. The Rossoblu moved 12 points clear of the relegation zone last weekend with an impressive 4-1 drumming of Lazio who sit one place above Cagliari. Lazio had taken the lead after just 3 minutes before a brace from Brazlian striker Jeda in the 5^th and 9^th minute, a penalty Acquafresca and a Mati goal sealed the win for the Sardinian side.

Manager Massimiliano Allegri hailed his team’s spirit as they came from behind at Lazio and hopes the club can show the same spirit at the Stadio Olimpico, despite winning just one of their last six away games.
