Juventus beat Lazio 1-0 to keep their hopes of Champions League football alive next season. The Biancocelesti had the better of opportunities but were hindered by the 80^th minute dismissal of Cristian Ledesma for a foul on Juventus’ Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo.

Like Juve, Chievo also won their last league fixture 1-0. It was a massive result for the Flying Donkeys, who all but cemented their spot in Serie A next season with the victory. Luca Rigoni scored the winner in the 58^th minute, slotting in from close range after opposition keeper Antonio Rosati had failed to hold on to Sergio Pellissier’s headed effort. A win over Juventus on Monday will guarantee Chievo’s place in Italian football’s top tier next season.
