Juventus are second in the table, seven behind Jose Mourinho’s Inter. The title is still Inter’s to lose, but Juve will try their best to keep the race for the Scudetto alive. They certainly did their cause no harm by demolishing Roma 4-1 in their last game.

Vincenzo Iaquinta scored twice, and defender Olof Mellberg and Czech playmaker Pavel Nedved also found the back of the net as the men from Turin ran riot in Rome. Juve have now won their last five league games, and with their injury list getting shorter by the day,  beating them has just become much harder. Defender Jonathan Zebina could return to first team action this weekend.

Last year’s Serie B champions Chievo have embarked on a nice little run of their own. Domenica di Carlo’s Flying Donkeys upset Lazio in Rome, and then followed it up with 1-0 home win against Palermo.

Prior to the game against Lazio, Chievo were in the drop zone, but are now six points above it. Brazilian Siquiera Luciano scored the winner against Palermo, while Erjon Bogdani and Sergio Pellissier were on target in that incredible game against Lazio.
