Lazio will welcome the Italian giants AC Milan to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to play their fourth Serie A fixture. You can catch all the action with live streaming Serie A football at oleolefootball.watchlive.net. Many feel that Milan need the result more than Lazio which will make for a good game. Lazio will feel under a little pressure to get the result in front of their fans but 6 points from 3 games is not a bad start from them.

Serie A Live

The AC Milan team has been on the end of some mixed results so far with a win a draw and a loss keeping them down the table in tenth place. The fans will be calling for a much better performance from their star players. Alexandre Pato hasn’t scored since the opening game of the season for Milan but Ibrahimovic managed to get two in the Champions League against French club Auxerre. If the Swede can find some sort of form and carry it through to his league games then AC could well climb the table quickly.

Lazio manager Edoardo Reja will have no intention of making things easy for Milan. They have won two and lost one but the loss was the first game of the season. Czech Republic striker Kozak came on to get the winner for Lazio in their last game against Fiorentina so may get to start. The most important thing for Lazio to do is to keep an eye on the improving on the midfield. Any point that get taken from this game will most likely come from midfield dominance. Serie A Live

Lazio have picked up only two wins from eleven Serie A games, and both victories came in the month of August. Since then, the Biancocelesti have slipped rapidly, and coach Davide Ballardini is coming under increasing pressure to arrest the slide.

Lazio were held to a 1-1 draw by Siena last Sunday. Stefano Mauri gave Lazio the lead in the 8th minute, but Massimo Maccarone equalised for Siena twenty four minutes later. L’Aquile were also thrashed 4-1 by Villareal in the Europa League on Thursday night. Argentine striker Mauro Zarate scored the only goal of the night for Lazio.

Unlike Lazio, AC Milan’s fortunes are on the upswing. The Rossoneri are unbeaten in their last six league games, and have picked up wins in three of them. They played host to Parma last weekend, and won 2-0 thanks to a brace from Marco Borriello.

Milan also did their Champions League chances no harm with a 1-1 draw against mighty Real Madrid at home. An error from keeper Dida allowed Karim Benzema to put Real ahead, but Milan equalised from the spot six minutes later through Ronaldinho. The penalty was earned by Zambrotta, whose cross was adjudged to have been handled by Real defender Pepe.

Lazio will look to forget last weeks 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico. Tommaso Rocchi had fired Lazio into the lead after just 3 minutes, but a quick-fire double from Jeda gave Cagliari the lead and Acquafresca and Matri sealed the win for the away side. The Biancocelesti now sit 9th in the table as the club look to improve on last year’s finish of 12th place.

The club have only won once in January and will look for a better February should they finish in the European qualification places. Lazio have reached the last four in the Coppa Italia with victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico last week. Torino took the lead early in the first half, before Goran Pandev, Stefano Mauri and Rochi sealed the win for the Rome side.

AC Milan travel to Rome on the back of a 4-1 thrashing of 10-man Bologna in the Serie A. A brace from Kaka plus goals from Clarence Seedorf and David Beckham sealed the win for the Rossoneri who sit third in the table, six points behind league leaders Inter Milan. Milan have not lost in 2009 and will look to continue with their good form to close the gap at the top.

AC Milan have been involved in intense media speculation this transfer window over on-loan midfielder David Beckham. The former England captain is set to return to the United States in March, but after an impressive start at the San Siro boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to be keen to sign the star, angering LA Galaxy.
