Reggina broke a three game losing streak as they beat Atalanta 1-0 last week for their first win of 2009. Fabio Ceravalo scored the winning goal for Reggina after Andrea Consigli had parried Andrea Costa’s effort. Reggina are now only four points behind 17^th placed Torino, and the win has raised the Amaranto’s chances of surviving.

The loss to Lazio means that Juventus will almost certainly not finish with any silverware this season. They also lost their second spot to AC Milan last week after the draw against Internazionale. Milan and Juve are on the same number of points, but the Rossoneri have a higher goal difference than the Bianconeri.
