Udinese were hammered 4-1 by Fiorentina last weekend. The Friulian outfit’s poor form away from home again came to haunt them as La Viola beat them convincingly. Juventus needed a late goal from the much maligned Felipe Melo to beat Atalanta last weekend. The Brazilian, criticised heavily for his performances on the pitch, nodded in an Alessandro Del Piero cross eight minutes from time as Juve returned to winning ways. Del Piero had himself given Juventus the lead in the first half, only for Atalanta’s Nicola Amoruso to equalise on the stroke of half time.
