Algeria and Egypt will compete towards the World Cup in 2010 in South Africa this Sunday, June 7^th. Egypt is ranked number one in Africa's group C, but only has one point, the same as Algeria which is ranked third of four slots in group C. Algeria's coach Rabeh Saadane surprised everyone by not including Lamouri Diediat and Abderraouf Zarabi in the Egypt game. Diediat and Zarabi have been included in every Algeria squad listing since Saadane began coaching. 

Algeria will meet Egypt on their own turf on Sunday, and other squad members include Mohamed Qusserir, Lounes Gaouaoui, Slimane Raho, Antar Yahia, Reda Babouche and Karim Ziana, just to name a few. Egypt also surprising fans for this game, leaving out striker Mido. According to assistant coach Shawki Gharib, it was a tactical decision. Mido has 48 caps so far, and has scored a total of 19 goals.
