Marcello Lippi, the Italian football coach opted against making some wholesale changes to the squad that drew with Switzerland 0-0 last month. He opted to name the squad without any large changes to play for the World Cup qualifiers away against Georgia and against Bulgaria at home in Turin. The Current World champions Italy are just one point above Ireland in the qualifying group and with just one game in hand the champions are hoping to add some breathing room before the match against Bulgaria that is to be held on Wednesday.
