Trinidad and Tobago and El Salvador both occupy the last two positions in the six team group of Final Round Qualifying to see which team makes it through to the World Cup Finals of 2010. The way things stand, El Salvador have little or no chance of qualifying unless a major surprise occurs in the remaining matches involving the sides above them in the table. Trinidad and Tobago are definitely out of the running and only have pride to play for. That is not saying that the team are not going to go all out for the victory against the Central American team.

With the addition of another two English-based players in Bobby Zamora and Jlloyd Samuel who received their passports recently, Trinidad and Tobago will feel confident of securing their first win in this final stage. Zamora who plies his trade with Fulham, and Samuel who plays for Bolton, join up with fellow English-based players Kenwayne Jones and Carlos Edwards from Sunderland. Another English-based player, Stern John, will not be available for selection after dislocating his shoulder on his debut for Crystal palace on Saturday.

For their part, El Salvador still have an outside chance of making the play-offs so will be going all out to try and secure the three points when they travel to the Caribbean island.
