Meanwhile Turkey coach Fatih Terim will be looking to build on his side's good performance in the first half and pull off an upset on Wednesday as he looks to get his side's qualification campaign back on track.

Turkey threatened the Spanish defense time and again in the first half and the result could have had been different had their attackers managed to convert the early chances. Nihat Kahveci, Semih Senturk and Arda Turan wasted a number of chances before Spain responded with the winner in the second half.
